Vintage British butterflies tea card art in tiny frames ~ set of 4

Charming little set of butterfly tea cards in miniature frames to bring cottage core vibes and nostalgic overtones to any room. These delightful tea cards are from the "British Butterflies" collectable set from 1963 with artwork by Richard Ward for Brooke Bond Tea.

The illustrated butterflies are Speckled Wood, Red Admiral, Green Veined White and Brimstone, all species native to the British Isles. Each tea card has a description of the butterfly on the reverse, which can be seen through the metal edged double sided glass frame. 

The mini frames look great either hung on a wall or could be added to an eclectic Christmas tree or Natural History display. The little pictures make an ideal gift for naturalists and lovers of country gardens and afternoon tea.

Product details: The vintage tea cards have been hand picked by me and framed in mini vintage style metal frames with hanging chain. Each frame contains one tea card and had double sided glass so that the description text about each butterfly is visible on the reverse. This listing is for a set of 4 framed cards. The tiny frames are approximately 7.6 cm x 5.1 cm in size.

Please note the black frames are in vintage style with variation in colour and a rustic feel to be expected. The tea cards are original vintage from the 1960s with small marks and signs of age adding to their charm. 

The frames will be wrapped in tissue paper and will arrive in a box with foam padding. For safe transport of the glass, the chains are sent separately in the box, and will need to be added to the frame hoops on arrival.
